Carter Groves serves as ValorC3’s Chief Financial Officer, bringing over 20 years of investment and operations experience across private equity and infrastructure. His strong leadership skills, intuition and breadth of expertise in investment strategy, portfolio management and investor relations make him a valuable addition to Valor’s executive leadership team. Carter began his career in corporate restructuring with Arthur Andersen. Prior to joining Valor, he held roles as a Partner of investment management company Quintana Infrastructure & Development, Vice President of New York-based J.F. Lehman & Company, a private equity firm focused on aerospace, defense and marine investments, and Head of U.S. Infrastructure for an international energy and infrastructure investment firm. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He remains active in philanthropic endeavors with a focus on higher education through service on various fundraising and scholarship committees related to UT Austin, and has served on the Boards of Directors for Enstone LLC, Frontier Utilities LLC and telMAX Inc.
