Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee all aspects of data center operations.
• Ensure 24/7 monitoring of the facility including HVAC, power and network. 
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and terminations of Data Center Technicians
• Maintain staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational continuity.
• Ensure customers and other staff are following data center procedures. 
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare for and support annual security and safety audits.
• Prepare and participate in regulatory audits for SOC, PCI and other frameworks. 
• Enforce data center access controls and physical security protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of access logs, and operational procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
• Participate in cross-functional operations meetings and initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data center operations or critical infrastructure management.
• 3+ years of experience managing technical teams in a 24/7 environment.
• Strong knowledge of data center systems: servers, networking, HVAC, UPS, generators, structured cabling.
• Experience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and incident management.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, within a team and/or under pressure. 

• Understanding of ITIL and experience with ITSM platforms. 
• Knowledge of security systems such as access control and camera surveillance systems. 

Education and Certifications

• Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA
