Enterprise Account Executive

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Energetic self-starter who is highly motivated to prospect into Medium and Enterprise corporate accounts, with the goal of establishing virtual and in person client meetings
  • History of successfully employing a diverse set of prospecting methods including cold calling, a variety of digital mediums (including social and email) and industry events
  • Demonstrated active management of marketing generated leads and prospecting lists. Prompt follow up and capture of relevant client information in Valor’s CRM tool
  • Effectively manage opportunities to uncover needs. Drive client meetings and engage ValorC3 resources to conduct client discovery sessions, data center tours, and enable the creation of client proposals, all with the goal of progressing opportunities into the contracting stage.
  • Negotiate and close client contracts. Work with all ValorC3 stakeholders and external parties to effectively and efficiently execute contractual agreements.
  • Effectively manage and work with third party channel partners and resellers to develop incremental business opportunities  
  • Function in a high top-of-the-funnel volume environment, keeping current record of all activities and opportunities in the ValorC3 CRM tool
  • Maintain a current knowledge of market activities including competitive products, pricing and policies, new technology, product specifications and new products

 

Skills & Qualifications:

 

  • Strong understanding of how modern Enterprise accounts deploy IT / OT infrastructure and software to optimize business functions and solve business problems
  • Familiarity with data center, colocation, cloud services, and connectivity an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, enabling relationships at all levels of the client organization
  • Deep understanding of business sales processes
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
  • Strong negotiation skills

 

Experience, Education & Training:

 

  • 7+ years of experience in selling technology-centric solutions to enterprise customers. Direct experience in data center, colocation, or cloud services sectors preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or college. Preference will be given to candidates with a focus in engineering, technology, communications, marketing and business administration
  • Formal training in negotiations and client service skills preferred
  • Relevant technology certifications from key industry players an asset
